Position: LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (TITLE 5) with Security Clearance
Duties As a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, GS-0346-09, you will review and evaluate all operations, deployment, contingency and exercise plans to ensure mission readiness for the Logistics Readiness Squadron. Develop, manage and control Logistics Readiness Squadron training and career development programs. Compile and update status of Logistics Readiness Squadron, to include tracking and reporting of personnel, training, equipment and supplies. Coordinate, develop and administer management training programs for supervisory personnel.

Develop local training programs to accommodate supply procedural changes, and coordinates changes to other career field areas as directed, to improve operational effectiveness when management indicators reflect potential trouble areas. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of employment

EXPERIENCE:

Experience, education, or training involving judgment and/or analytical ability in the logistics field. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED

EXPERIENCE:

12 months specialized experience, education or training equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Must have experience, education, or training which involved detailed knowledge of organizations and their functions in logistical support (i.e., supply, maintenance, quality assurance, facilities). Experience planning and organizing work assignments. Knowledge of the operational aspects of equipment authorized for the organization and authorized substitutes sufficient to advise senior leadership on the mission degradation resulting from limited availability of authorized equipment.

Knowledge of supply regulations and directives sufficient to establish organization management policies and procedures. Experience reviewing and evaluating all operations, deployment, contingency and exercise plans to ensure mission readiness for the Logistics Readiness Squadron. Education Education Requirement:
None In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: GS-09 SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR

EXPERIENCE:

Applicants may substitute the following education for the required experience, provided it demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to do the work of the position: possess a master's or equivalent graduate degree, LL.B, J.D., or have completed two full years of progressively higher graduate level education leading to such a degree. One year of full-time graduate education is considered to be the number of credit hours that the school attended has determined to represent 1 year of full-time study.

If that information cannot be obtained from the school, 18 semester hours should be considered as satisfying the 1 year of full-time study requirement. GS-09 COMBINATION OF

Combinations of successfully completed graduate education and experience may be used to meet total qualification requirements.
