Field Service Power Generation Technician

We are looking for a talented Field Service Power Generation Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution Business in Memphis, TN.

• Completing repair activities on generators or components
• Engaging with customers in a courteous and professional manner
• Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools
• Maintain detailed records of service
• Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
• Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products
• Maintain own tools

• Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities.
• High Voltage / Low Voltage experience.
• Advanced experience with electrical repair and maintenance
• Proficient Diesel Engine experience.
• Advanced troubleshooting and repairs of generators, transfer switches, and auxiliary components.
• Setup, troubleshoot and repair basic paralleling generator systems.
• Understanding switch gear schematics.
• Ability to train Entry/Intermediate Technicians/Mechanics.
• This position requires CDL for transporting oil in TN; can obtain after hire.
• This position will cover the Memphis area within a 150 mile Radius for Power Generation.

Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Min Salary: $30.76;
Max Salary: $46.15. Base pay is complemented by additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
