Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and client-oriented Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on geotechnical-related projects with an emphasis on analysis, preparation of comprehensive geotechnical reports, and direct client communication. The successful candidate will manage projects from start to finish, ensuring seamless execution, high-quality deliverables, and exceptional client service.

• General Geotechnical Explorations
• Foundation Evaluations
• Pavement Design and Analysis
• Settlement Analysis
• Slope Stability Analysis
• Karst Explorations
• Construction Site and Expansive Soils Evaluations
• Special Inspections and Construction Materials Testing (CMT)

• Conduct geotechnical field explorations and oversee laboratory testing.
• Analyze and interpret field and laboratory data to provide sound geotechnical recommendations.
• Prepare and review detailed geotechnical reports for commercial, industrial, retail, government, and residential projects.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients throughout project life cycles, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
• Manage geotechnical projects, including proposal development, project execution, and report delivery.
• Coordinate field activities with drill crews, including scheduling and sampling logistics.
• Conduct field work as necessary to ensure accurate data collection and quality control.
• Utilize engineering software (e.g., gINT, DARWin, SLOPE/W, VOLFLO, gSTABL, SLIDE, Microsoft Excel) for analysis and reporting.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering (required);
  Master’s in Civil Engineering (preferred).
• Licensure:
  Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Tennessee or Arkansas (required).
• Experience:
  
  Minimum of 5 years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience.
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Proficient in industry-standard geotechnical software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Additional:
  Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

• 0 to 20% travel depending on project needs.
