As a Structural Engineer, you will:

• Review structural documents for conflicts with other disciplines
• Write and edit structural specifications, select procedures, materials, and sizes, and perform calculations
• Coordinate the structural design team through design development and contract phases
• Participate in meetings and reviews with governing agencies for code compliance
• Conduct design development and contract document work sessions at project sites
• Manage workload to ensure timely completion of documents
• Coordinate with affected disciplines and incorporate changes into project documents
• Perform field inspections and walkdowns
• Support expanding knowledge in structural engineering, especially in the power sector

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Architectural Engineering with a structural emphasis
• 8-10 years of experience in structural engineering

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license
• Experience with structural engineering and relevant software (AutoCAD, RISA, Staad, SAP, Tedds, RAM, ETABS, SAFE)
• Experience with architectural/engineering firms
