Position SummaryCorami Biotech is seeking a Biomedical or Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This role will contribute to the design, development, and testing of innovative cardiac therapeutic delivery systems. We welcome candidates with varying levels of experience – whether you’re early in your career or a seasoned medtech professional seeking a flexible schedule.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate activities across multiple engineering and research projects to ensure alignment with timelines and objectives.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, suppliers, and service providers to support device development and testing.
- Oversee internal V&V planning and execution, including test protocols, scheduling, and documentation.
- Track project progress, maintain documentation, and report status updates to leadership.
- Oversee internal quality management processes, including document control, supplier quality, and compliance with ISO 13485 principles.
- Support regulatory submissions by organizing technical documentation and ensuring quality system readiness.
- Facilitate communication between internal teams and external partners to resolve issues and keep projects on schedule.
- Assist in planning and logistics for preclinical studies and device evaluations.
- Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, related field.
- Experience level:
Minimum of 3 years of medtech experience. - Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., Solid Works) and prototyping techniques.
- Understanding of biomechanics, materials science, and medical device principles.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced startup environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Work on cutting‑edge cardiac therapeutic technologies.
