HVAC Technician

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. – Pay Range

Base pay range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year. Salary will be discussed with manager during interview.

Nashville, TN.

• Provide construction inspection and quality assurance services on mechanical systems projects at an international airport facility.
• Conduct on-site inspections of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems to ensure compliance with approved construction documents, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Review contractor’s work, inspect delivered materials, and verify certifications.
• Record daily observations and report any noncompliance issues.
• Coordinate and verify field testing of mechanical systems and materials.
• Review and approve pay applications related to mechanical work.
• Review contractor’s quality control and safety manuals and procedures.
• Ensure contractor adherence to safety standards and conduct daily safety inspections.
• Review contractor submittals for constructability and compliance with project specifications.
• Provide technical guidance on mechanical system installations, including HVAC, piping, and equipment.
• Monitor contractor performance and compliance with mechanical system standards and building codes.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of construction inspection experience focused on HVAC and mechanical systems.
• Experience with mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and equipment installations.
• Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and mechanical system testing procedures.
• Certifications in mechanical or HVAC systems preferred.
• Experience with airport construction projects preferred.
