Job Description

Support the Test Engineer in the development and commissioning of test solutions. Execute the test qualification of the fixture and program as per the specific system qualification process. Provide deliverables to support the solution in production to both the Test Support Function and Manufacturing Operations. Assist in the build and manufacture of testers, fixtures, and environmental tooling as required to meet customer expectations.

Provide comprehensive documentation and training for all test solutions implemented to the Test Support function. Coordinate with the Manufacturing function to ensure comprehensive documentation and training for all test operations implemented.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and contribute to the improvement of Test Yields, Efficiency, Intermittencies, and Uptime, providing accurate reporting and clear targets for improvement.
  • Strive to consistently upgrade the test process balancing cost and coverage with the goal of providing an optimized and cost-efficient test process.
  • Work closely with manufacturing and test support to ensure prioritization of support activities.
  • Coordinate the timetable for test readiness based on the weekly production schedule through the appropriate Test Support staff.
Essential Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering with 0 years of experience.
  • 1-2 years of electrical, electronic, or computer component testing experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong electrical skills including low voltage testing, debugging, test development, software, and hardware.
  • Ability to understand test scripts and make modifications as needed.
  • Ability to understand schematics and contribute to the development of DOE's and data gathering to resolve ongoing failure trends.
  • Basic skills with MS Office.
  • Experience with low voltage testing and debugging.
  • Familiarity with test development processes.
  • Knowledge of software and hardware integration.
  • Experience using Python, JavaScript, or C# preferred.
Additional

Skills & Qualifications
  • Switchgear experience is a plus.
Work Environment

The role is based within a contract manufacturer setting, where collaboration with various teams is essential. The work involves utilizing a variety of technologies and tools to achieve high-quality outcomes.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
