Job Summary As a Product Engineer, you will be instrumental in the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes for a diverse range of products. You will bridge the gap between design and production, ensuring manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and high-quality output.

Job Responsibilities Collaborate with design teams to provide DFM (Design for Manufacturability) feedback and recommendations throughout the product development lifecycle.

Develop, implement, and maintain detailed manufacturing process documentation, including work instructions, process flows, and control plans.

Lead Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), and Product Change Requests (PCRs).Review work instructions, BOMs, routings, and manufacturing documentation for accuracy and compliance.

Identify and resolve production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Optimize existing manufacturing processes for efficiency, yield improvement, and cost reduction through the application of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

Evaluate and qualify new materials, components, and manufacturing equipment.

Conduct process capability studies (CpK, PpK) and implement statistical process control (SPC) to ensure consistent product quality.

Support new product introduction (NPI) activities, including pilot runs, process validation, and ramp-up.

Work closely with quality assurance to define and implement inspection criteria and testing procedures.

Participate in cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Provide technical support and training to production operators and technicians.

Job Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
2-5 years of experience in a product engineering or manufacturing engineering role, preferably in an electronics manufacturing services (EMS) environment.

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including SMT, assembly, testing, and packaging.

Proficiency in CAD software, such as Solid Works or AutoCAD, for reviewing and analyzing product designs.

Experience with statistical analysis tools and methodologies, such as Minitab.

Knowledge of quality management systems, such as ISO 9001.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Familiarity with various product lifecycle management (PLM) systems is a plus.
