Run complex in-plant industrial projects such as process piping, corrosion-resistant systems, vessels and structural work for a respected specialty GC, where your engineering instincts matter as much as your schedule.A bit about us:
We’re an established industrial specialty contractor serving process and manufacturing plants across the Mid-South. Plant owners call us when the work is technical, the environment is corrosive and production can’t stop. We combine general contracting with deep specialty expertise and a strong safety culture, and we’ve built long-term partnerships one plant at a time.
Why join us?- Technical, interesting work: process piping, corrosion-resistant systems, vessels and structural work, not repetitive commercial builds
- Engineering-led leadership: a team that understands process environments and values technical judgment
- Repeat plant relationships: steady work from long-term industrial clients
- Real ownership: senior PMs have a direct line to leadership and real influence on how the business grows
- Safety-first culture: fully OSHA-trained crews and documented safety and QA/QC programs
- Competitive pay: strong base salary, performance bonus, vehicle/allowance and benefits
Description:
We’re hiring a Senior Project Manager to lead industrial construction projects inside active manufacturing and process facilities. This role is for someone who knows how a plant runs, can read a P&, and can plan work around production without sacrificing safety or quality.
You’ll own multi-discipline projects from proposal through closeout: civil and concrete, process piping, corrosion-resistant systems, vessels, structural platforms and ventilation. You’ll be the main point of contact for plant managers, engineers and maintenance leaders, and you’ll lead field crews and project staff to deliver work on schedule and on budget.
What you’ll do:- Lead industrial projects for chemical, paper, water/wastewater, food and beverage, power, pharmaceutical and manufacturing clients
- Plan and run in-plant work, including off-shift, shutdown and outage scopes, in coordination with plant operations
- Manage scope, schedule, budget, procurement and subcontracts across civil, mechanical and specialty disciplines
- Oversee process piping (ASME B31.3), FRP and thermoplastic systems, chemical-resistant coatings and linings, tanks and vessels, and structural steel
- Own project financials: estimates and proposals, T&M and lump-sum tracking, change orders, billing and cost reporting
- Make sure every job has documented permits, JHAs, lift plans, QA/QC checklists and complete closeout packages
- Build long-term relationships with plant clients that lead to repeat and maintenance work
- Mentor project engineers, foremen and field leaders
- 8+ years of industrial construction project management, with recent work leading projects inside operating facilities
- Hands-on experience with process piping, mechanical installs and/or corrosion-resistant systems (FRP, thermoplastics, coatings, linings)
- A strong grasp of plant safety: permitting, LOTO, confined space, hot work
- Financial discipline across T&M and lump-sum work
- Comfort working directly with plant management and engineering teams
- An engineering degree (Chemical, Mechanical or Civil) strongly preferred; PE a plus
- OSHA 30 preferred
