The Retirement Plan Services Support Specialist is responsible for providing operational support to the Retirement Plan Services department. This role focuses primarily on processing forms and executing basic retirement account transactions, including rollovers, internal transfers, and documentation related to account holder death. This position is highly detail-oriented and process-driven, with minimal to no phone work required.

• Process retirement plan forms and basic account transactions such as rollovers, internal transfers, and death-related documentation.
• Review and audit account activity to verify accuracy and ensure all transactions meet IRS regulatory requirements.
• Interpret and apply retirement plan rules and regulations to ensure compliant processing.
• Review client requests for corrections and determine appropriate actions.
• Maintain accurate and compliant documentation across multiple systems.
• Respond to email inquiries regarding transaction issues or process questions.
• Diagnose issues using available tools and provide solutions that align with regulatory guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with internal departments to research and resolve escalated issues.
• Provide guidance to branch personnel on proper procedures and corrective actions.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of retirement plan regulations through training and internal/external resources.
• Review daily productivity reports to evaluate personal performance and accuracy.
• Support departmental processes during high-volume periods with consistent reliability and precision.

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in financial services, ideally within the retirement planning industry;
• OR a recent bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field with some professional work experience and the ability to quickly learn retirement plan fundamentals.
• Experience using CRM systems preferred.
• Experience in a call center or high-volume processing environment preferred.

• Strong alpha-numeric data entry abilities with a minimum qualification of 5500 KPH and at least 85% accuracy (scores must be included at the top of the candidate's resume).
• Ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously, including dual-monitor workflows.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proper grammar and spelling.
• High attention to detail with strong accuracy in work output.
• Professional demeanor and proven reliability, with minimal history of attendance or tardiness issues.
• Ability to learn new processes quickly and apply them consistently.
