At Groups, we believe recovery is possible and no one should have to do it alone. As a Counselor, you’ll lead dynamic group therapy sessions and be a vital part of our member‑centered care team. You’ll work in a mission‑driven environment where compassion, integrity, and human connection drive real transformation.

• Lead 2–3 one‑hour group therapy sessions per day using a structured, evidence‑based curriculum.
• Facilitate group discussions using a “plug and play” approach from approved modalities within our clinical framework.
• Collaborate with prescribers, care navigators, and recovery coaches.
• Monitor member progress and document outcomes.
• Support a positive, recovery‑oriented environment for members.
• Engage in local community outreach to promote Groups’ mission.

• Master’s degree in a mental/behavioral health discipline OR enrollment in a Master’s program with relevant focus.
• Active or in‑supervision to obtain credentials such as MFT, LMFT, LPC, LPC‑MHSP, LMSW, LCSW, LADAC level 1 & 2, LSPE, Licensed Psychologist/Psy.
  
  D. RN & LPN acceptable with experience leading therapeutic groups and documenting outcomes.
• Experience leading group therapy.
• High comfort level with technology: EMR, Telehealth software, Google products (Gmail, Docs/Sheets/Drive), mobile apps.
• Compassion, collaboration, commitment to quality care, and investment in member success.
• Ability to work 2–3 evenings per week up to 9 pm as needed.
• Preferred background in mental health, social work, substance use disorder treatment, therapy, human services, social services, medication‑assisted treatment or MAT.
