Overview and ResponsibilitiesBaptist Health Sciences University's Medical Radiography program is accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).
The university seeks to hire an Instructor (Masters Pending) for the Medical Radiography program at Baptist Health Sciences University. The person in this role will assist with administering the program rules, regulations, and policies in compliance with JRCERT Standards; assess the clinical competency of students; cooperate with faculty in review and revision of clinical course materials; and demonstrate knowledge of clinical education content for a bachelor's degree medical radiography program.
This position is under the administrative direction of the Academic Dean for the Allied Health Division and/or the Program Chair for the Medical Radiography program.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree (master’s degree preferred) in radiography or a related discipline from an accredited institution
- Three years’ clinical experience in the professional discipline
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification and registration in radiography
- Additional ARRT Certification in an advanced modality, preferably Computed Tomography (CT) or Magnetic Resonance (MR), is preferred
