Assistant Professor - Department of Audiology and Speech Pathology, Knoxville TN

THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN KNOXVILLE, TN
The College of Health Professions at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center invites applications for a 12-month, non‑tenure‑track Au.D. clinical faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the Department of Audiology and Speech Pathology. The expected start date is September 1, 2025.

  • Direct evidence‑based diagnostic and treatment services

  • Scholarship activities such as research, presentations, and publications
Qualifications

EDUCATION: Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) Degree

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in audiology. Experience with adult patients and at least one specialty (Tinnitus, AR, Implantable Devices, Hearing Conservation, Vestibular) is preferred. Experience providing clinical supervision of students is preferred.

LICENSES: ASHA Certification in Audiology (CCC‑A) and meets ASHA requirements for clinical supervision of students. Tennessee license to practice audiology.
