Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with at least 2 years of pediatric experience and proficiency in GE MRI systems.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a pediatric Level I trauma center

• Provides MRI services in a specialized pediatric environment

• Works with GE MRI systems

• Schedule is 3x12-hour day shifts, Wednesday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM

• Weekend shifts may be required as needed

• Assignment requires experience in a highly specialized pediatric, trauma-level setting

• Staff must be available to work two out of three major holidays occurring during assignment

• Returning travelers must have a one-year separation from previous employment at the facility

• All requested time off must be submitted with initial application; late requests may not be honored

• Vaccination status must be provided for consideration

• Scrubs are required per hospital policy

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years pediatric MRI technologist experience

• ARRT certification required

• Proficiency in operating GE MRI systems is required

• At least one completed previous travel assignment is required; first-time travelers will not be considered

• Cerner EMR experience preferred

• Driver’s license required for consideration

• Candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility

• License required if applicable

• No pending licenses accepted; compliance with NLC guidelines required
