St. Jude Global Pediatric Medicine is looking for a program coordinator for our Palliative Care team! The Program Coordinator - St. Jude Global Programs assists in designing, implementing, and overseeing projects and initiatives within and for the Department of Global Pediatric Medicine (GPM) and St. Jude Global (SJG). Responsible for researching, documenting, and disseminating information as needed. Under the supervision of the GPM director or manager and as assigned, this role serves as a section and/or project team lead and acts as a liaison with other members of GPM and SJG and its collaborators, ensuring coordination and success of departmental, regional, and/or global initiatives and departmental requirements.

Overview The Department of Global Pediatric Medicine (GPM) is a growing department looking for professionals who are eager to help implement the St. Jude Global (SJG) mission by training the clinical workforce, developing and strengthening health systems and patient-centered initiatives, and advancing knowledge to sustain continuous improvement through research.

The St. Jude Global Palliative Care Program is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support implementation and project management of community-based research and initiatives to improve quality of life by addressing the physical, psychological, social, and spiritual suffering of patients, and family members. This key team member will act as a liaison with other members of GPM/SJG and global collaborators, and thus will need to communicate clearly and foster trusting relationships with colleagues and partners.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and eager to help develop and grow these programs in support of the St. Jude Global Strategic vision, have a demonstrated interest in global health, and have project management experience and/or a background in healthcare or education.

Responsibilities

Facilitating communication and implementation of initiatives with global collaborators including forging new relationships with multidisciplinary health professionals as well as diverse members of global communities Designing, coordinating, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating project-based initiatives. Utilizing project management tools to effectively coordinate priority work activities, provide regular progress reporting, and achieve project deliverables Communicating project plans and incorporating appropriate feedback from all relevant stakeholders Facilitating coordination of site visits and preparation of agenda, meeting materials, and summary reports Assisting with analyses of mixed methods research and implementation needs Developing and implementing standardized tools, frameworks, and metrics to ensure execution of project deliverables Designing compelling reports, research/policy briefs and messaging specifically tailored for needs in partnership with diverse collaborators Facilitating written and spoken discussions in live meetings, presentations, and email/written communications Assisting with preparation and tracking of grants, research manuscript submissions, and presentations including tracking Ensuring alignment across SJCRH, GPM, and St.

Jude Global strategic plans and missions Engage with program management teams internally and vendors externally for coordination. May mentor less experienced team members.
