Performs imaging procedures and treatments aligned with radiology standards to assist in diagnosis and treatment. Completes documentation and maintains equipment and work areas to ensure safety and compliance. Participates in performance improvement activities and aims to meet departmental goals.
Job SummaryPerforms imaging procedures and treatments aligned with radiology standards to assist in diagnosis and treatment. Completes documentation and maintains equipment and work areas to ensure safety and compliance. Participates in performance improvement activities and aims to meet departmental goals.
Responsibilities- Demonstrates thorough understanding of radiologic principles, selecting appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal results.
- Develops and implements procedure/treatment plans according to established protocols.
- Maintains a neat, safe environment for patients and staff.
- Participates in quality improvement activities to uphold care standards.
- Completes required documentation and achieves assigned goals.
- Minimum 6 months experience in the specialty area.
- Registered by ARRT(R) or RCIS; BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
- Basic computer skills required;
Vascular Interventional ARRT(VI) registration preferred. - State licensure as needed; new graduates expected to obtain registry within 60 days.
