Assistant General Manager - Studio Res, Memphis, TN
Hotel Management & Consulting is seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant General Manager to lead operations in the absence of the General Manager. The role requires a passionate leader who excels in hospitality and team development, and who ensures service standards are consistently exceeded.

Benefits- Salary: $43,888 - $46,388, dependent on experience.

- Team Lead:
Train and guide staff, discuss performance discrepancies, lead staff huddles, provide hands‑on support. - Financial:
Post checks in PMS, complete weekly labor tracker, manage payment reports, postpaid outs, and receipts. - Guest Relations:
Ensure the hotel is "Guest Ready," maintain cleanliness, address concerns, review feedback, recommend amenities, and ensure property security. - Housekeeping:
Assign rooms for cleaning, assist GM in inspections. - Other:
Manage inventory, check property email, build vendor/guest relationships, foster teamwork. - Sales & Marketing:
Network locally to promote the property, build relationships with competitors and key clients, lead in‑house sales initiatives. - Teamwork:
Assist with housekeeping tasks, complete daily laundry duties, cover shifts as needed. - Emergency Procedures:
Follow property emergency protocols and secure the property and guests. - Other Duties as Assigned.
- Minimum 1 year of hotel leadership experience, including front desk and back‑of‑house operations.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Strong team‑building skills.
- Excellent organizational, time‑management, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Proactive problem‑solving approach.
- Tasks involving kneeling, squatting, standing, sitting, bending, and twisting for prolonged periods.
- Ability to lift, push, pull up to 20 lbs regularly, occasionally up to 50 lbs.
