Systems Engineer, IT Consultant, Data Analyst, Business Systems/ Tech Analyst
Amazon’s Corporate Infrastructure Services is looking for a highly motivated leader to lead a global team of Telecom Vendor Managers, Procurement Specialists, and Technical Business Developers. The role involves supporting Amazon's Telecom Supply Chain for multiple business units by designing WAN connectivity solutions, expanding and managing relationships with telecom vendors, negotiating Service Agreements and Contracts, and ensuring cost, delivery, availability, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and develop global team members
- Identify, evaluate, design, negotiate, source, and manage telecom infrastructure, strategic partner relationships, and complex deals
- Serve as the escalation point for Amazon Corporate WAN connectivity
- Hold Quarterly Business Reviews
- Integrate fast‑deploy solutions
- Create a WAN Service Management Program
- 3+ months of telecommunication technology experience
- 5+ years of vendor management experience
- Bachelor’s degree or above, or 5+ years of equivalent experience
- 5+ years of team leadership experience
- Experience effectively communicating complex concepts through written and verbal communication
- Experience in problem solving and delivering results
- Experience coordinating projects across organizations that span hundreds or thousands of people
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
- Experience in cross‑functional project delivery
- Experience communicating across technical and non‑technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $146,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $242,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
