Job Summary:

Cornerstone Systems is a leading transportation company in the United States, specializing in transportation and logistics solutions. The Application Support Analyst will support business system users, troubleshoot applications, develop reporting solutions, and ensure systems run smoothly while collaborating with internal and external teams.

Responsibilities:

Support company software applications, including Transportation Management System (TMS), Microsoft Great Plains, Document Management, SSRS, and Power BI.

Monitor, respond to, and prioritize open service requests through incident management systems.

Troubleshoot and resolve application, infrastructure, and integration issues.

Escalate unresolved alerts as needed.

Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to departmental initiatives.

Develop scripts, services, or applications to automate manual tasks.

Document technical processes related to application support.

Collaborate with internal customers, team members, and vendors on change requests and issue management.

Perform daily health checks of applications.

Manage user setup and administration across systems.

Provide after-hours or weekend emergency support as needed.

Implement and maintain RESTful and SOAP APIs for system integrations.

Utilize AI-powered tools and automation to enhance workflows and support efficiency.

Qualifications:

Required:

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
At least 2 years of experience in application support or development.
Hands-on experience with C#, PHP, Java, SQL (Microsoft SQL and MySQL).
Knowledge of SQL in multi-database environments.
Experience with SSRS and Power BI report creation.
Proficiency with Windows OS and Microsoft Office (Excel, VBA, Outlook, Access, Word).
Understanding of API architecture, design, and integration (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML).
Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, and manage time-sensitive projects.
Problem-solving skills to identify root causes and provide solutions.
In-depth knowledge of multiple systems for troubleshooting.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Preferred:

Experience as an Application Support Analyst.
Experience with AI or machine learning tools for troubleshooting and automation.
Knowledge of accounting processes and financial systems, especially Great Plains.
Transportation or logistics industry experience.
