First Point Group is looking for a Core Network Support Engineer to work at our customer's premises in Memphis, TN.

• Work onsite in Memphis, TN supporting a major telecom operator’s core network environment as a senior support resident engineer.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
• Recent experience (within last 2 years) working with telecom core network platforms from major vendors is required.
• Must be able to pass NSA background check requirements.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in managing, operating, and supporting EPC, IMS, and 5GC network nodes for both data and voice services.
• Solid understanding of 4G/5G core interfaces and protocols, including experience with troubleshooting and system integration.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes and containerized environments, including managing and operating CNFs (Containerized Network Functions).
• Ability to perform first‑level troubleshooting, create/execute MOPs, support migrations/upgrades, and provide incident/KPI reporting per project scope.
• Operational experience with key core network functions such as MME, SPGW, AMF, SMF, UPF, NRF, PCRF/PCF, HSS/UDM, AUSF, UDR, CSCF, TAS, SBC, and MRF.
• Additional preferred experience includes working with advanced core management platforms, policy/charging systems, configuration tools, and CNF‑based deployment environments (CLI & GUI).
