Computer Technician Senior – DecisionPoint Corporation

DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking a Computer Technician Senior to join our IRS Operations Service Support (OSS) Support Services team. The role involves preparing systems for imaging, installing software, performing quality checks, packaging systems for shipment, receiving equipment, and updating asset management and inventory systems.

Location:

On-site, Memphis, TN.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with setting up systems in preparation for imaging.
  • Install above-baseline software and perform quality checks.
  • Package and prepare systems for shipment to IRS depot centers.
  • Work with Service Manager to address various logistic management requests.
  • Receive incoming shipments of equipment and update the asset management database and inventory records.
  • Manage and track inventory using barcode scanners and related technology.
  • Provide deskside and remote support as needed for IRS employees.
  • Active Public Trust Clearance or ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
  • Completed IRS Minimum Background Investigation or ability to clear IRS Minimum Background Investigation.
  • Basic computer support skills to sanitize equipment according to IRS procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Experience with inventory management technology.
  • Knowledge of database applications for asset management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications

• Active Public Trust Clearance or ability to obtain

• Completed IRS Minimum Background Investigation or ability to clear IRS Minimum Background Investigation

• Basic computer support skills for sanitizing equipment according to IRS procedures

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)

• Experience with inventory management technology

• Knowledge of database applications for asset management

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
