Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking a Sr. Application Security Engineer to join their team. As a member of the Cybersecurity Department supporting Application Security and Dev Sec Ops  teams, you will collaborate closely with development and Dev Ops squads, ensuring that secure coding and testing practices are seamlessly integrated into the software development lifecycle.

• Conduct application security testing (SAST, SCA, DAST) using tools such as Veracode and Burp Suite.
• Integrate security testing into CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with Dev Ops teams.
• Remediate vulnerabilities in Java, .NET, and Python codebases following secure coding practices.
• Maintain compliance with frameworks such as NIST, PCI‑DSS, SOX, and CIS.
• Support incident response and design security alerts to detect threats.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in application security, secure development, and vulnerability management.
• Hands‑on experience with Veracode, Burp Suite, and other DAST/SAST tools.
• Strong coding/scripting skills in Java, Python, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, SANS 25, and cloud security (AWS, Azure).
