Network Engineer

Chevron is scaling its technology platform across TN, and the Network Engineer we hire becomes one of its load-bearing decisions. The offer reads simply — contract, $85,000 - $123,000, 5 years, and a senior role where ownership is not a perk but the point.

• Configure and manage infrastructure as code across staging and production
• Refactor the technology module Chevron has been afraid to touch
• Pair with technology analysts so Chevron's Windows Server models match real behavior
• Maintain and improve CI/CD infrastructure across TN engineering teams
• Profile TCP/IP memory use and chase down the leaks crashing Memphis nodes
• Translate a napkin idea from Chevron founders into a Subnetting mission-driven prototype
• Negotiate Windows Server tradeoffs with product when Chevron timelines and reality collide
• Own the Subnetting release that Memphis leadership has circled on the calendar

• Comfort defending a recommendation in front of skeptics
• Comfort being measured against a clear senior bar
• The kind of empathy that makes hard feedback land softly
• Senior fluency in Windows Server, with Subnetting on your roadmap
• Fluency across TCP/IP and Critical Thinking, with strong opinions on both
• A TN sensibility, or genuine curiosity about this market
• A history of leaving technology processes better than you found them

Joining Chevron means joining an autonomy-driven group of professionals who push technology forward from Memphis. As a senior Network Engineer, you'll have a real voice in shaping how the technology team operates.

What we put on the table: $85,000 - $123,000, coaching for your Self-Motivation, benefits worth having, and freedom to grow at your own pace.
