Job SummaryThe Purchasing Manager oversees purchasing, warehousing, and inventory management at a specific location. Responsibilities include implementing best practices, improving supply chain processes, and managing location purchasing teams.
Responsibilities- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Understand menus, products, packaging, and pricing
- Build rapport with team members and partners
- Follow safety and sanitation practices
- Manage inventory control and product handling
- Meet sales and cost goals
- Manage budgets and reporting
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards
- Monitor inventory procedures for accountability
- Lead and develop team members
- Experience in Supply Chain or Purchasing
- High computer literacy
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Interest in industry trends and new technology
