Warehouse Supervisor

Floor & Decor is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to direct and oversee all warehouse operations for each retail store. The role involves supervising warehouse specialists, order pickers, forklift operators, and providing support to the Receiving Supervisor in managing daily freight schedules based on customer and inventory needs.

Major Responsibilities
  • Schedule warehouse personnel daily to ensure proper manning for shipping and receiving operations.
  • Direct day-to-day warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, maintenance, and inventory control.
  • Oversee Storage Buy transactions, correct receiving errors, and staging of products.
  • Maintain warehouse equipment, coordinate preventive maintenance programs, and communicate repairs to CEM and/or Operations Manager.
  • Implement warehouse safety programs in compliance with OSHA regulations.
  • Ensure all associates are trained and follow standard operating procedures.
  • Manage the progressive disciplinary process, including counseling and written warnings.
  • Resolve general employee inquiries and problems.
  • Coordinate with other departments for efficient warehouse operations.
  • Complete necessary activity reports for management.
  • Monitor paperwork flow from Receiving to Inventory Control Specialist for timely data entry.
  • Resolve discrepancies with shipping, invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports.
  • Execute the Storage Buy Audit COP.
  • Stage products for counting and inspection.
  • Store products properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures.
  • Oversee inventory rotation within the warehouse.
  • Perform other related duties as directed by management.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements
  • 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center, preferably.
  • Excellent interpersonal, team building, delegating, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to work with and maintain effective relationships with other departments.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Competent in basic mathematical calculations.
  • Strong computer skills, working primarily in Windows-based systems.
  • Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment and meet established deadlines.
  • Availability to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons.
Working Conditions

Employees frequently engage in a warehouse environment with moving vehicles; noise level is typically moderate to noisy.

Physical / Sensory Requirements

Ability to exert 30–60 pounds of force occasionally, 20–30 pounds frequently, and up to 20 pounds constantly for lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and moving objects. Frequent standing, walking, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling required.

Monday - Friday: 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Sunday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Pickup Hours

Monday - Friday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Sunday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
