Manufacturing Manager – you will manage and direct the manufacturing and warehouse staff for the entire production lifecycle, ensuring safety, quality, cost, and delivery goals aligned with customer commitments.

- Manage all activities of the manufacturing team, focusing on employee relations, safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement.
- Lead with positive performance, address issues, conduct employee evaluations, and develop training & support.
- Ensure compliance with Company Safety Management System, OSHA standards, and perform accident investigations with program improvements.
- Coordinate daily production activities to meet schedule, efficiency, and quality goals.
- Oversee warehouse team to ensure inventory control, material movement, and clean standards.
- Establish Lean culture – mentor teams in Lean tools (Standard Work, Kaizen, 6S, Pull Systems, DOE) to maximize efficiency.
- Ensure production crews receive consistent training and cross‑training aligned with business needs.
- Maintain accurate warehouse records supporting production requirements.
- Follow SOPs for Quality Control, 6S, Tool Control, Production Control, TPM, and Environmental Management.
- Prepare, manage, and report results – budgets, staffing plans, capital budgets.
- Represent the Company positively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain supplies for production (tools, solvents, cleaners, safety supplies).
- Support new projects and design development to improve manufacturability.
- Lead improvement projects on process control, equipment, capacity, and productivity.
- Develop equipment specifications, support procurement, installation, commission.
- Document processes and maintain work instructions.
- Manage customer order review process for manufacturing.
- Collaborate with other departments on technical solutions to manufacturing problems.
- Coordinate with Design Engineering on cost reduction and design‑for‑manufacturing.
- Lead plant safety initiatives.
- Follow Hyosung HICO policies, procedures, safety, quality, and environmental guidelines.
- Assist Operations Manager as needed.
- Coaching & training cross‑functional teams in data collection, problem‑solving, and operational objectives.
- Initiate and manage special projects focusing on quality, productivity, and safety.
- Recommend improvements to company policies and procedures.
- Maintain process procedures.
- Conduct new employee orientations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field; at least 8 years of management experience, including 5 years in a Lean manufacturing environment, or equivalent.
- Advanced knowledge of manufacturing processes for custom, engineered‑to‑order products; experience with Lean or Six Sigma tools.
- Understanding of MRP/ERP planning systems.
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced interpersonal skills – managing diverse teams, coaching, and positive employee relations.
- Advanced computer proficiency – MS Office.
- Travel domestically and internationally up to 10% of the time.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and internal/external customers.
- Conduct business in a multicultural environment.
- Multi‑task and prioritize competing projects.
- Communicate effectively to complete work.
- Use required PPE (hard hat, safety toe shoes, glasses, gloves).
