Position Summary: Aluma Form Inc. is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Associate I to join our production team. As a critical member of our manufacturing company specializing in power transfer equipment for utilities, the Manufacturing Associate I will be responsible for assisting in various aspects of the production process to ensure product quality and efficient manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the assembly and manufacturing of power transfer equipment following standard operating procedures.
Conduct visual inspections and basic quality checks to ensure products meet quality standards.
Move materials and components to and from workstations, ensuring the availability of necessary resources.
Operate basic machinery and tools under supervision and following safety guidelines.
Collaboration:
Work closely with team members and follow the directions of supervisors to meet production goals.
Adhere to safety protocols, wear appropriate protective equipment, and participate in safety training.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including routine cleaning and minor equipment maintenance tasks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- No prior manufacturing experience required; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Willingness to learn and follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to use basic tools and equipment.
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand, lift, and move objects as needed in a manufacturing environment.
