In a globally growing healthcare market, we are looking for a full‑time Shipping Coordinator to strengthen our team in Memphis.

The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all products are packaged, documented, and shipped in full compliance with FDA regulations, quality standards, and customer requirements.

Essential Job Functions
  • Brings enthusiasm to support the manufacturing floor by ensuring finished medical devices reach customers and patients safely and efficiently.
  • Demonstrates enthusiasm for supporting the manufacturing process by ensuring orders are shipped accurately and on time.

  • Adheres strictly to FDA, ISO 13485, and internal manufacturing quality standards, understanding that errors can impact patient safety and compliance.
  • Ensures all shipping documents—packing lists, labels, commercial invoices—are accurate and complete.
  • Handles inventory, finished goods, and customer information with integrity and attention to detail. Escalates discrepancies or quality concerns immediately to prevent errors or compliance issues.
  • Maintains consistent, reliable work habits in an environment where accuracy and traceability are essential.
Drive Results
  • Meets daily shipping cutoffs while adapting to shifting production schedules.
  • Resolves issues such as missing components, labeling discrepancies, or inventory mismatches by coordinating with production and quality.
  • Prepares shipments quickly and accurately to meet daily production and customer deadlines.
  • Verifies product quantities, lot/serial numbers, and packaging before shipping to ensure zero‑error fulfillment.
  • Uses ERP/warehouse systems to maintain accurate records of shipments and inventory movement.
  • Troubleshoots shipping challenges—carrier delays, documentation errors, product availability issues—and resolves them promptly.
  • Supports ongoing improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve order accuracy.
Collaboration
  • Works closely with Production, Quality Assurance, and Customer Service to resolve order issues and coordinate shipment timing.
  • Communicates clearly with carriers, freight partners, and internal stakeholders regarding shipping schedules and issues.
  • Assists team members during high‑volume periods and contributes to a cooperative, team‑focused environment.
  • Helps maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace through shared responsibility and teamwork.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Skills
  • Proficient with shipping systems.
  • Strong attention to detail for verifying quantities, labels, and documentation.
  • Knowledge of proper packaging methods, labeling standards, and handling procedures.
  • Basic understanding of inventory control practices.
  • Familiarity with reading shipping documents, work orders, and packing lists.
  • Ability to safely operate warehouse tools such as pallet jacks.
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
Experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in shipping, warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing.
