Key job responsibilities

Assembly support:

• Champion safety requirements in all designated zones and work locations
• Execute assembly of mechanical and electro‑mechanical parts using proper tools and techniques
• Independently execute and prioritize work to meet deliverables relative to assigned drone assembly process(s).
• Work with production and the operations teams to help execute production readiness and testing responsibilities.
• Identify and recommend improvements by contributing to improving SOPs and safety procedures
• Attention to detail in repetitive tasks

Test Support:

• Support / Execute vehicle testing as needed to ensure product functionality and conformity.

• Experience in mechanical and electrical integration or assembly
• Can carry/lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach
• Travel up to 25% of the time
• Experience in installing sub‑assemblies and assemblies while working to drawings or CAD files
• Experience with common business applications and tools (i.e. Microsoft Office, ie. Word, Excel, etc.)

• Experience working in aerospace or a highly regulated industry.
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant License
• Experience using Microsoft Office and Linux

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $47,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $100,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
