Manufacturing Quality Technician

Job Description

Our client, a top international bank, is looking for a Manufacturing Quality Technician for a 12+ month temporary assignment located in Memphis, TN. All Quality Tech positions begin on day shift for 1 week for training, then go into night shift 5pm–5am. Shift rotation schedule: week 1:
Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat. Rotation week 2:
Sun, Weds, Thurs.

• Inspection of finished and in‑process products by performing visual, basic dimensional and documentation inspection.
• Use inspection equipment, measuring techniques and a PC and mainframe computer system.
• Follow specified procedures or instructions within the framework of the FDA Quality Systems Requirements (QSR’s) and ISO 9001 standards.

• High School education or GED equivalency.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to read measuring instruments (micrometers, scales, calipers, and indicators).
• One year experience inspecting parts to blueprints using measuring instruments (micrometer and calipers).
• Understanding of general manufacturing processes.
• Basic knowledge of GD&T is a plus.
