Vestis Corporation – Industrial Laundry Facility

Performs work as part of a team in an industrial laundry facility, responsible for the safe, expeditious, and accurate handling of merchandise into and/or out of the laundry facility.

Monday through Friday: 9:00am to 5:30pm

• Stage cart in lift table, secure safety chain, and raise the table.
• Fold linen, aprons, towels, table napkins, and/or fender/seat covers.
• Identify and segregate merchandise not meeting specified quality standards (rips, tears, holes, stains).
• Accurately verify merchandise quantity and bundle by type.
• Place bundles in correct storage bins, carts, or on shelves.
• Maneuver full and empty baskets.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment and observe best practices in all production activities.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

• Understand all required training, written, and verbal instructions.
• Basic math skills.
• Good verbal and/or written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Meet attendance schedule.

• Repetitive motions over entire shift.
• Bending, reaching, pulling, twisting, and lifting.
• Use of hands for grasping and other manipulations.
• Standing and walking for long periods.
• Exposure to dust, noise, and extreme heat or cold.
• Shift schedule may include weekends and overtime.

High school degree or equivalent preferred.
