. Our client, a leading organization in the food processing industry, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join their team. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting plant operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a proactive mindset, and excellent problem‑solving abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor
Location: Memphis, TN
Pay Range: Up to $93,000 annually
Responsibilities- Lead and oversee daily maintenance activities across multiple shifts, ensuring safety, quality, and cost objectives are achieved.
- Supervise maintenance personnel, processes, and equipment to maintain optimal plant performance.
- Coordinate preventive, predictive, corrective, and autonomous maintenance efforts.
- Plan and schedule maintenance tasks, allocate resources, and monitor key performance indicators such as equipment uptime and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations, including HACCP, GMP, FDA/USDA standards, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering preferred.
- 5–10 years of maintenance experience in the food industry, with at least 4 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong technical background with experience in IQF and frozen food processing, packaging, and warehousing equipment.
- Proficiency with CMMS software (e.g., SAP, Maximo) and knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to adapt to a fast‑paced environment.
