Vanguard Soap is a dynamic manufacturer right here in Memphis, Tennessee, where we have been making soap since the 1940s. We focus on higher end natural and specialty bar soaps and liquid personal care products, developing our own unique formulas for different purposes, making hundreds of items sold through major retailers throughout the US.

We are looking for a production supervisor to lead a manufacturing shift or area. We do high speed packaging of consumer soap products and other personal care items, and we have lots of changeovers. This leader is responsible for typical supervisory functions including onboarding and training new staff, leading a team of around 20 people, and assuring quality product is produced efficiently and on schedule.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

2-year Associate Degree (or enrollment in such a program) plus 3-5 years supervisory experience preferred and should have experience managing production lines in a manufacturing environment.

PHYSICAN DEMANDS:
Walking, standing, bending up to 12 hours; lifting 25-75 pounds; exposure to chemicals, fragrances, etc.
