Vaco is actively seeking a Git Hub SME / Dev Ops Consultant to support our client’s continued growth. This is a unique opportunity to join a highly respected organization that is a proven leader in their field.

The Git Hub / Dev Ops Lead Engineer will guide our client through the following two-phase effort:

• Establish Git Hub Actions for new software development initiatives
• Migration of CI/CD and SDLC workflows from Azure Dev Ops (AzDO) to Git Hub

This is a hands‑on SME leadership role. The objective is for this engineer to accelerate delivery by providing proven guidance, advising the client teams, and contributing directly to system design and implementation plan.

The engineer will lead the design and implementation of an enterprise‑ready Git Hub environment and establish complete end‑to‑end SDLC pipelines using Git Hub Actions. The project will have a defined delivery use case, such as a Python API deployed into containerized infrastructure on AWS, to ensure solutions are practical, repeatable, and extensible.

This role requires strong Git Hub Actions experience, including the ability to build standardized templates, reusable workflows, and scalable CI/CD patterns suitable for long‑term enterprise adoption.

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
