The Amlon Memphis facility, as an RCRA Part B Treatment, Storage, and Disposal Facility (TSDF), specializes in recycling services for businesses generating liquid waste and metal-containing industrial solid waste, including hazardous materials

Full-time (Onsite)

ASAP

• Operate forklifts to move bags, pallets, flo bins, and other materials or containers as directed.
• Operate production equipment efficiently and safely.
• Perform material handling duties as assigned.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas (housekeeping).
• Input and track materials accurately in the production software.
• Collaborate with third-party representatives as needed.
• Perform general maintenance on equipment.
• Work independently and demonstrate initiative.
• Utilize basic computer skills for data entry and communication.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Basic computer proficiency.
• 24-hour HAZWOPER (Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response) certification.
• Forklift experience and certification required.
• Experience working in shifts.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Capability to manage independent workload and prioritize tasks.

• Must be able to wear personal protective gear most of the day.
• Must be able to see and respond to dangerous situations.
• Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move 50 pounds occasionally.
• Must be able to ascend and descend ladders, scaffolds, stairs, and work in confined spaces and in proximity to loud equipment.
• Must be able to respond quickly to sounds.
• Must be able to work in cold/hot environments and on concrete floors.
• Balancing:
  Maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing, or crouching on narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces.
• Lifting:
  Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position-to-position.
• The worker is required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment.

• The worker is required to function in narrow aisles or passageways.
• The worker is subject to atmospheric conditions:
  One or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system:
  Fumes, odors, dust, mist, gases, or poor ventilation.
• The worker is subject to fluids:
  There is air and/or skin exposure to oils and other fluids
• The worker is required to wear a respirator.
• The worker is subject to both environmental conditions:
  Activities occur inside and outside.
