Position: Content Kindler (Social Media Coordinator)

As a Content Kindler, you will be responsible for capturing on-site photo and video content for client accounts and supporting the Client Expedition Managers with event coverage and live posting. Your role will involve attending client shoots and events, editing photos, creating engaging reels, and delivering organized content our team can use across platforms. The ideal candidate has a sharp eye, loves talking to people, and wants to be right in the middle of what makes Memphis and the Mid-South special.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Content Capture: Capture high-quality photo and video on-site for clients across restaurants, retail, nonprofits, festivals, corporate events, and campaigns, while maintaining consistency with client messaging and brand image.
  • Event Coverage: Attend client events where you will follow a set shot list for live posting. Collect content to build client inventory for future promotional needs and recap posts.
  • Live Posting and Uploads: Post live stories during events as directed, and upload all captured content to the client's shared Google Drive folder before leaving the site.
  • Photo Editing: Complete basic photo edits (cropping, lighting, color correction) so images are polished and ready for client use.
  • Reel Creation: Edit captured footage into engaging, scroll-stopping reels using Cap Cut, following client brand guidelines and current platform best practices.
  • Team Support: Coordinate with the Client Expedition Managers on shot lists, schedules, and content review. Be proactive in completing tasks, practice active communication, and be open to constructive feedback.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Proven 1 to 2 years of experience in content creation, with a portfolio of photo and video captured on a phone
  • A phone with a high-quality camera
  • Basic photo editing skills and the ability to create engaging reels (Cap Cut preferred)
  • Ability to work with Google Drive and Google Workspace
  • Strong interpersonal skills and comfort approaching and talking with people at events
  • Creative eye and the ability to generate fresh ideas for capturing content
  • Detail-oriented self-starter with a reliable, get-it-done attitude
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities
  • Availability for on-site shoots during the day, evenings, and weekends, depending on the client
  • Reliable transportation for shoots and events across the Mid-South
WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Part-time, 1099 contract position in a vibrant, collaborative, and community-focused culture
  • 10 to 15 hours per week to start, with additional hours available as demand grows
  • Primarily on-site, with editing done from home
  • Hourly pay of $15 to $25, based on experience
  • A front-row seat at events, real creative freedom, and work worth bragging about, alongside a small, laid-back team that loves what we do
