Comprehensive Staffing Solutions is seeking Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses for the upcoming school year. The position is for School Based Pre‑K program. Pediatric experience is required. Pediatric Ventilator experience required.

• Conducting student hearing and vision screenings
• Educating students on hygiene and safety practices
• Dispensing prescription medications to students per physician instructions
• Verifying vaccination records
• Taking students' temperatures when fever is suspected
• Administering first aid and CPR
• Treating minor injuries such as cuts, scrapes and bruises
• Contacting parents when students are ill or injured

• Standard clinical skills to dispense medications and treat minor ailments and injuries
• Basic math skills to ensure proper dosage amounts when dispensing medications
• Good communication skills to work with students and parents
• Ability to demonstrate a calm, caring demeanor when working with children
• Good presentation skills for training school staff
• Ability to remain focused in the event of a student medical emergency
• Pediatric experience required
• Pediatric ventilator experience required

Compensation : $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
