Monday‑Friday. Variable day shift with assigned late days. No holidays, nights or call.
We are looking for a Full‑Time PACU nurse for a fast‑paced outpatient surgery center.
- PACU nurses are responsible for overseeing vital signs, changing bandages, and administering necessary medications
- Educating families and patients about home‑care instructions
- Managing respiratory instability and cardiac monitoring activities
- Assessing patient’s condition after surgery is performed; ensuring that all vital signs are within range
- Accurately and completely recording all findings in patient’s chart
- Developing individualized care plans based on patient’s condition
- Monitoring patient’s condition changes and reporting changes to the healthcare team
- Performing intervention duties in the case of post‑operative emergencies
- Recording sedation levels and body temperatures
- Ensuring the post‑operative space is clean and sanitized
- Performing other duties as requested
We are a fast‑paced multi‑specialty outpatient surgery center.

- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; current RN license
- BLS and ACLS required
- PALS preferred
- Minimum of one year experience in PACU or a critical care equivalent area
- Registered Nurse
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – preferred
