Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Maryville, TN | Acute Care

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (18:45–07:15) | Onsite

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
• Utilize EPIC EMR for clinical documentation throughout the shift
• Administer and manage medications using the Omnicell medication system
• Provide weekend coverage on an every-other-weekend basis, subject to change based on unit need
• Float to other units and/or campuses as needed based on census, performing only tasks within demonstrated and documented competencies

• Active Tennessee Registered Nurse (RN) license
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, CPI, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room experience
• Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible at full rate; candidates residing 90–99.9 miles may be considered at a reduced rate; candidates under 90 miles are not eligible
• Pre-assignment testing and online modules must be completed within 48 hours of receiving login credentials; up to 16 hours of module time may be reimbursable

• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers will be considered based on skill and experience

• Work in a dynamic Emergency Room environment with a team committed to keeping staff in their home unit whenever possible
• Module completion time of up to 16 hours may be reimbursable, supporting a smooth onboarding experience
