Description:
Join a dynamic team as a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical Oncology. You will provide high-quality care to patients with cancer-related conditions. The unit operates on a team nursing model, ensuring a collaborative environment. Patient ratios are set at 1:6, allowing for focused and individualized care. Oncology certification is required for this position. You will administer chemotherapy and manage care for patients undergoing treatment.
Strong communication skills are essential for patient education and support. The environment supports interdisciplinary collaboration with various medical teams. This role requires dedication to patient safety and adherence to oncology protocols. Weekend coverage and on-call shifts may be required as needed. Candidates must be willing to work the majority of holidays during the contract.
