We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to join the group of Dr. Fabio Demontis (www.stjude.org/demontis). The lab (www.stjude.org/research/labs/demontis-lab.html) is located in the Department of Developmental Neurobiology e Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN, USA. We use mice and Drosophila to decipher the conserved mechanisms of muscle aging and proteostasis, and how muscle-derived signals (myokines) affect proteostasis and the progression of age-related diseases in the central nervous system (Genes&Development, 2020;
Cell Metabolism, 2021; Trend in Molecular Medicine, 2026; Developmental Cell, 2026).
- This position is restricted to applicants that did not start already postdoctoral training elsewhere.
