The Culinary Cook participates in the provision of quality meals and nutritional services to patients, staff and guests in accordance with established policies and procedures and in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Lakeside Behavioral Health System.

• Participate in the preparation and delivery of quality meals and nutritional services to patients, staff, and guests.
• Adhere to established policies and procedures related to food safety and quality.
• Collaborate with the dietitian and kitchen staff to meet patient dietary needs and preferences.
• Assist with menu planning, inventory management, and kitchen sanitation.

• Education: Prefer high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Prefer prior culinary experience in a restaurant, casual or fine dining kitchen, hospital, health care, or hospitality setting. Experience with buffets, banquets or EDR kitchens preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Serve Safe Certification preferred.
