As a Permanent Employee Benefits Client Account Executive, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for managing key client accounts and providing exceptional service. You will be the main point of contact for our clients, providing them with expert advice and guidance on their employee benefits programs. This role requires a unique combination of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and outstanding interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities- Manage and maintain relationships with key client accounts, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on employee benefits programs, including health and life insurance.
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored benefits solutions.
- Coordinate with internal teams and market contacts to deliver exceptional service to clients.
- Utilize advanced computer applications to manage client accounts and track performance.
- Travel occasionally, sometimes overnight, to meet with clients and attend industry events.
- Provide leadership within the team, offering direction, constructive feedback, and development opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and related training.
- Minimum of five years of agency employee benefits experience.
- Life and health insurance license.
- Strong client relational skills to build and maintain positive business relationships.
- Excellent communication skills and service orientation.
- Ability to resolve client and company problems with tact and professionalism.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel, occasionally overnight.
- Advanced degree.
- Certification or designation in a related field.
- Experience with Requests for Proposal.
- Five or more years of experience in a similar role.
