The Opportunity

We're looking for a results-driven Area Sales Manager to lead hospice sales across the Memphis territory. You'll identify growth opportunities, shape sales strategy alongside program and regional leadership, and develop a high-performing team of community liaisons — all while making a meaningful impact in end-of-life care.

This is a field-based role requiring up to 70% travel within the assigned territory. Candidates should live within the territory or within reasonable driving distance.

What You'll Do
Team Leadership

Oversee the daily operations of community liaisons, equipping them with the training, tools, and direction needed to effectively engage target accounts and manage their books of business.

Sales Strategy & Growth

Partner with Program Directors and Regional Sales Directors to develop and execute portfolio and sales strategies that drive patient census growth across the region.

Performance Tracking

Monitor key sales metrics and KPIs — including visit frequency and referral activity — and generate regular reports to keep leadership informed and the team on track.

Recruiting & Team Building

Play an active role in identifying and hiring talent for open and newly created community liaison positions, building a team that consistently delivers results.

Market Intelligence

Stay current on market trends, competitor activity, and evolving best practices to ensure the region remains competitive and responsive to opportunities.

  • 2+ years of management experience
Knowledge & Skills
