Job DescriptionAs a Security Professional - Access Control in Memphis, TN
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will monitor entry points, manage visitor access, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence and excellent communication skills will support a welcoming atmosphere while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach.
This is a driving post and requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal's driver policy requirements.

- Monitor and control access to the location to help deter unauthorized entry and/or prohibited items.
- Verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises to support compliance with site-specific policies.
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and responding to inquiries.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help deter suspicious activity and/or security-related concerns.
- Document and report any unusual activities, incidents, or observations according to Allied Universal and client requirements.
- Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including assisting with evacuations and/or other site-specific emergency procedures.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
