As a Security Professional – Healthcare Access Control Driver in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will play an important role in helping to create a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Your responsibilities include monitoring and controlling access points, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents.

• Monitor and control access points at the healthcare location to help deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
• Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the facility in accordance with Allied Universal policies and site‑specific procedures.
• Provide customer service by assisting patients, visitors, and staff with directions and information related to access protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help deter suspicious activities and identify any security‑related concerns.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and client procedures.
• Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as needed to address security‑related incidents and maintain order within the healthcare environment.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
