- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Monitor access points and verify the credentials of individuals entering or exiting restricted areas to deter unauthorized entry.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following established protocols for healthcare environments.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to deter security‑related risks and identify any unusual activity.
- Document observations, incidents, and activities in daily reports to maintain accurate records for the location.
- Assist patients, visitors, and staff with directions and general inquiries, maintaining a professional and approachable presence.
- Collaborate with healthcare staff and local authorities as needed to address security‑related matters and emergencies.
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. - A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
