What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with hospital personnel and emergency responders as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and assist with visitor management while maintaining a professional presence.
• Prepare accurate reports and documentation for incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with site policies and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Handcuffs/Pepper Spray/Baton experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
