As a Mobile Technician with JLL, you will serve as a key technical specialist maintaining commercial buildings at peak operational condition across multiple locations. Operating from a company vehicle, you will independently perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and energy efficiency improvements on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. This role is essential to JLL's commitment to delivering exceptional property management services while identifying cost‑saving opportunities that directly impact client satisfaction and building performance.
Day‑to‑dayresponsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and repair services on HVAC systems, water chillers, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical building systems.
- Identify and implement energy savings opportunities through system modifications and operational improvements.
- Plan and execute work assignments independently with minimal supervision across multiple facility locations.
- Utilize CMMS technology to manage work orders, document completed tasks, and maintain accurate service records.
- Collaborate daily with team members, contractors, building occupants, and clients through in‑person, phone, and email communications.
- Conduct routine building maintenance tasks and assist other trades as needed.
- Travel between various properties within assigned geography using company truck.
- Minimum 5 years of technical experience in commercial building engineering with strong HVAC, plumbing, and electrical repair background.
- Valid state driver’s license (must maintain throughout employment).
- Universal EPA 608 Certification.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office Suite, internet navigation, and handheld electronic devices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to manage diverse stakeholder relationships.
- Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally, work in extreme weather conditions, and climb ladders up to 30 feet.
- Knowledge of MEP/HVAC system design and applications.
- Experience with CMMS work order management systems.
- Background in commercial facilities service roles.
- Familiarity with building automation and controls systems.
- Understanding of applicable codes, laws, and regulations for commercial building systems.
