Lead Commercial HVAC Technician
Pay Rate: $40/hr.

This role offers stable, full-time work with consistent hours focused on commercial projects, and provides opportunities to lead a team, train technicians and installers, and grow technical skills across systems such as VRF, VAV, central AC, RTUs, splits, gas, electric, chillers, boilers, AHUs, and BAS.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and troubleshoot commercial HVAC systems to ensure optimal operation.
- Conduct preventive maintenance, including filter replacement, system inspections, and performance assessments.
- Collaborate on integrating HVAC systems with Building Automation Systems (BAS) to optimize energy efficiency and performance.
- Communicate effectively with clients to assess HVAC needs and provide informed recommendations.
- Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols and complies with relevant regulations.
- 3+ years of experience in commercial HVAC maintenance and diagnostics.
- Universal EPA, OSHA 10 or 30 certification – preferred.
- Leadership experience training and managing technicians and installers.
- Ability to travel 24‑50% of the time, including occasional overnight stays.
- Proficiency in reading HVAC blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Experience with BAS integration and HVAC control systems is a plus.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid HVAC certification/license as required by local regulations.
